| Cooking Guidelines | perfect for making sweet. savouries & soups. gluten free. onion bhajia recipe ingredients: 2 level cups of papa gram flour , 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed; 1 teaspoon salt, _ teaspoon chilli powder , 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda, 2 medium onions, finely chopped, 1/4 pint water. method: mix all the ingredients in a bowl with the water to make a thick batter. set aside for 5 minutes. take a heaped tablespoon of mixture & drop carefully into hot oil in deep pan or fryer. cook for approx 3 minutes until bhajias become crisp & golden. drain thoroughly on kitchen paper & serve immediately as a starter or meal accompaniment. suitable for vegetarians. |
