Cooking Guidelines | cooking instructions to fry: 1. heat 2-4cm vegetable oil in a frying pan or use deep fryer set to 180 c - 200 c (to test that the oil is hot enogh, add a small piece of pappadum to the oil. if it starts to bubble & expands immediately, then the oil temperature is correct) 2. fry each pappadum individually for 2-3 seconds. it wil expand quickly. 3. turn over using a spatula. remove from the oil & drain on a absorbent kitchen paper towel allowing excess oil to drain off. 4. serve. microwave: 1. lightly brush both sides of pappadum with vegetable oil. 2. place a single papadum in the microwave & cover it with kitchen paper. 3. cook on full power for 30 sconds or till it expands. |
